The Wharf Pub & Restaurant is open year-round, with the bar open until 1 a.m. daily. The restaurant side serves food until 10 p.m. in the in-season and until 9 p.m. in off-season. The menu includes stuffed quahogs, fried oysters and fried pickles for appetizers. There are also salads, soups, burgers and panini. Entrees include seafood, steaks, chicken, ribs and pasta. There is a dance floor area and on certain nights live music, a DJ, comedy acts or karaoke. Draft and bottled beer, wine, cocktails and martinis are served, and there's an ATM on the premises.
Detente is tucked away in Nevin Square in downtown Edgartown. The restaurant offers a menu that focuses on using fresh and local ingredients with a French-American twist. The dining area consists of two floors with four additional outdoor tables during the warmer months. The bar area is cozy, and there is a full bar offering beer, spirits and an extensive wine list. Menu items include fresh fish and seafood and local game and meats such as rabbit and veal. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes can be prepared upon request.
The Black Dog Home Store in downtown Edgartown sells its signature "Black Dog'" logo on houseware items, tabletop accessories, home decor items and, when in-season, holiday items. Houseware items include embroidered dish towels, cookie cutters, wine stoppers and aprons. Tabletop accessories sold include shot glasses, dinner and dessert plates, tumblers, wine glasses and coasters. Candles, throw pillows and doormats are also among the items available, as well as some holiday items including stockings and ornaments.
Atria has two options for dining, a more upscale, fine dining experience in their restaurant area or a more casual, laid-back experience in their downstairs bar/lounge area which features exposed brick walls, leather chairs, and a fireplace. They offer appetizers and entrees in both areas with a Mediterranean and Asian influence. You can also enjoy drinks while lounging in the Adirondack-style chairs on their front lawn. Private function rooms are available for special events.
The Square Rigger Restaurant offers fine dining entrees and appetizers in their dining room or you can also enjoy cocktails in their cozy bar area which offers beer, wine and spirits. Appetizers include quahog chowder, mussels and clams casino. Entree selections include steak and seafood combos such as a sirloin with baked stuffed shrip and filet minon tips with shrimp scampi. They have an extensive lobster menu which includes lobsters that are boiled, baked, stuffed, sauteed and grilled. During the in-season, there are two picnic tables outdoors where you can enjoy lunch or dinner from their take-out window. Gift certificates are available.
The Boathouse Restaurant in downtown Edgartown is part of the The Boathouse Club, a private club located in Edgartown whose membership includes access to their club, fitness center, tennis facilities, boating facilities, spa, as well as the restaurant. The Boathouse Restaurant has two covered outside decks and a bar area and offers members waterfront dining and views of Edgartown Harbor. There is also a private wine room with private deck that accommodates up to 20 guests. The restaurant is only open to members and guests, the menu is Northern Italian cuisine and reservations are required.
