North Shore Community Baptist Church is an evangelical church where a multigenerational family of believers from a variety of denominational backgrounds worship and serve the community together. The church offers small group, youth and children ministries, as well as mother's groups, college ministry and other outreach opportunities.
Worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 11:15am. During summer months, Sunday services are held at 9:30am.
The Abundant Life Christian Center Church is an evangelical church as well as a school and "Learning Center." In the day care, known as the Learning Center, you will find children from three- to 24-months old. The pre-school and pre-K age-range is from 2 to 5 years. There is also an elementary and middle school that runs up to 8th grade. The center stresses Christian philosophy and beliefs in all its classrooms. It was founded in 1982 by the First Baptist Church of Wilmington and moved into its current 21,000-square-foot space in 1996.
The First Baptist Church in Newton has a history dating back more than 200 years, when it first gathered in a building near its present site in Newton Centre. The congregation welcomes members from all walks of life into its sanctuary, which rests in a historical and impressive church built in 1888. The bell tower, complete with 11 chimes, was installed in 1899 and renamed the "America" bell tower in 1932 for the 100th anniversary of the writing of "America."

South Shore Baptist Church began as a Bible study group and grew until the members decided to make it a proper church and relocated to its current location in 1958. The congregation is friendly and encourages new faces and visitors to join Sunday services. The church has childcare available for youngsters through pre-school age. Children in kindergarten and 1st grade can attend children's church during Sunday service. There is also adult, youth, and children's Sunday school from 9:45-10:45 am. In between the t 8:15 a.m. and 11am services, there is a coffee fellowship for attendants to meet in friendship and faith. Elmwood Chapel, formerly Wellesley Baptist Church, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2000. The church is 60 years old. The chapel's pastor, Kevin B. Crispell, is a former high school English and drama teacher. The chapel is located on a quiet, residential street and also runs Elmwood Chapel Preschool, which is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). According to the church Web site, "In our seeking for a vision for this local body of Jesus Christ, as elders we believe that God focused our attention to be a church for people who have given up on church." A sign posted above the door as you exit the church reads: "You are entering your mission field."

Founded more than 150 years ago in Lawrence, the First-Calvary Baptist Church moved to North Andover in 1992 after a fire destroyed its Lawrence facility. The church is a member of the American Baptist Churches, which is a theologically moderate yet Evangelically-oriented denomination. The First-Calvary Baptist Church has about 300 members and, although Baptist, welcomes people from every Christian backgrounds to come worship.
