Strachan's Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts will delight your palate and satisfy your sweet tooth. Everything is homemade, including its carrot cake, which has been voted "Best of the Bay" by Tampa Bay Magazine for nine years in a row. Strachan's also has homemade fudge, cheesecake, brownies, cobbler and frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick, and that is just to mention a few.
Strachan's has 34 flavors of homemade ice cream. The shop also carries no-sugar-added butter pecan, and a fat-free, no-sugar-added chocolate vanilla swirl.
To get to Strachan's from Alt 19 heading north, make a left on Tampa, then an immediate right onto Dempsey. The parking lot will be right on the right side. The Pinellas Trail is just blocks away, and there are two bike racks outside.
Sugar Darlings Cupcakes & Cone is a local bakery with shops in Palm Harbor and New Port Richey. Long known for its sweet delights and large selection, it has become a favorite amongst residents. Ice cream is also served.
Bagel Outlet & Delicatessen is located at 33148 US highway 19 in Palm Harbor. They are north of Tampa Road on the west side of the highway.

Bagel Outlet & Delicatessen is a very clean shop and their wonderful staff is eager to serve you some of the most delightful lighter fare meals this side of Tampa. They not only have awesome bagels but offer a menu with all kinds of breakfast and lunch delights. My recommendation is the Slamming Sammy made with three eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese, on a roll, Yum. They also have wonderful fresh deli sandwiches and deli meats and cheeses you can take home.
Flowers Discount Bakery offers breads, rolls, bagels, english muffins, buns, snacking goodies and so much more. It primarily sells products that larger stores have not sold by a certain date at discounted prices. However, these products have not reached the expiration date.
Flowers Discount Bakery Store is located on the west side of US 19 just south of Klosterman Road. The staff is very helpful, friendly and eager to please. If you want to save some dough take a trip to Flowers Discount Bakery.
Angel Cakes Gourmet is a catering business owned and run by husband and wife, Tony and Paula DeVincenzo. They make prepared family meals, a variety of bread and other baked goods and pantry items. In addition to conventional goods, they also specialize in gluten-free food. Vegetarian items also available.
Primarily a take-away business, the only seating is outdoors on the sidewalk.

Sweet Caroline's is a scratch bakery that sells various retail baked goods like bread, pastries and cakes. It also creates wedding cakes and sells to local restaurants. It sells baked goods at local green markets. The pastry chef and co-owner, Michel Ostrander, conducts classes on a regular basis. You can register for his classes here.
