The University of California offers graduate and undergraduate courses in humanities, arts, and physical, biological and social sciences. Established in 1965, the university enrolls more than 15,000 students. Its students pursue graduate certificates, masters and doctoral degrees in over 30 academic fields under the supervision of the divisional and graduate deans. The University of California s faculties are members of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences and American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
