Michael Grieco Sr. began transferring the leadership role of the day-to-day operations to his son, Michael Grieco Jr., who is now one of the youngest automotive CEOs in the country. Over the years, Michael Grieco Jr. has added two Kia, two Chevrolet, three Ford and one Mazda franchise as well as Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram-Fiat, BMW, and Toyota franchises. The company also operates two 100% Green, eco-friendly collision centers in Rhode Island and South Florida. Over the last 30 years Grieco has acquired and sold more than 25 different franchises across three states. Today, they continue to maintain a solid reputation for excellence. Michaels brothers, Domenic and Robert, are also instrumental in the Grieco Automotive Group. As General Manager, Domenic oversees the Grieco Ford store in Raynham, Massachusetts. Because of Domenics efforts and success, Grieco Automotive Group acquired two more Ford dealerships in Florida. Robert serves as Corporate Pre-Owned Director for the Grieco Automotive Group. Both Domenic and Robert also serve as members on the Board of Directors. Contributing to the success of Grieco Automotive Group; George Smith Jr., Chief Operating Officer, and Scott Olenski, Chief Financial Officer who are heavily involved in the day to day operations as well as future development plans. The familys philanthropic efforts have been headed by wife and mother, Cathy Grieco. Cathy served as president of the Rhode Island chapter of St. Jude Childrens Research Hospitals charitable organization for several years and has helped raise over $1 million towards research. Her altruistic contributions also extend to organizations like Special Olympics, The Humane Society, Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Toys for Tots, Feeding America, Water for Cambodia, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Best Foot Forward Foundation, Hasbro Childrens Hospital and other local, southern New England charities.
