The Merion Civic Association actively works within the Merion community through membership and volunteering efforts to beautify and foster the well-being, awareness and prosperity of the area. Some efforts of the association involve the beautification of the railroad and post office grounds, monitoring development and renovation plans within the boundaries of the township, sponsorship of events throughout the year, keeping residents informed with newsletters about important community issues and monitoring the conditions of roads, trees and street lights, and reporting issues to the township.

To keep the community informed and take action on local efforts, the association works closely with these organizations: the Lower Merion School Board, the Lower Merion Township, the Federation of Civic Associations, the Narberth Fire Department, the Lower Merion Community Watch, St. Joseph's University Planning and Development Committee and the Friends of the Barnes Foundation.

The Merion Civic Association meets the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December, July and August) at the Merion Tribute House. To join or volunteer, visit the Merion Civic Association website for further information.
