The Birmingham Masonic Lodge is a community that strives to serve the larger community. As a group, those of the Lodge are dedicated to providing care for those in need. Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) is the oldest and largest construction association in North America. CAM is a not-for-profit organization and its membership is comprised of general contractors; specialty and sub-contractors; equipment and material suppliers and service firms (architects, engineers, attorneys, financial management, etc.). The International Union of Operating Engineers represents engineers, workers in general construction other contractors. The union offers services in wage protection, legal representation, benefit review and a variety of other related services.
Since 1985, the Hebrew Free Loan Association has provided the Jewish community with short-term, interest-free loans. The association provides loans to help individuals with job training, living expenses, adoptions, medical needs and more. It is located in Suite 300 in the Max M. Fisher Federation Building.
The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1820 is located in the Bloomfield Boulevard office building, suite 100. AFSCME Local 1820 members consist of public service employees such as police officers, childcare and healthcare workers. AFSCME provides its members with employee support, and legal and retirement services.
Associated Environmental Services sounds like an environmental nonprofit on the surface, but is actually a member of the real estate and property management community. The business helps locals evaluate how much their current property is worth, or a property they are considering purchasing, among other services. The combined interest of the environment of Bloomfield and the real estate community makes for a unique business active in the community.
Oakland County Republican Party is an organization that promotes Republican values and individuals running for government offices. Members participate in rallies, ballot initiatives and other activities.

Cranbrook Institute of Science is a premier regional museum of natural history, founded in 1904 and serving over 200,000 visitors per year. The Institute features the Acheson Planetarium, the Bat Zone, the Erb Family Science Garden and a variety of different exhibits and events.
