Matanuska-Susitna College is a part of the University of Alaska Anchorage. Located in Palmer, Alaska, it serves more than 1,500 students and was formerly known as Palmer Community College. The college is spread on an area of more than 900 acres, and serves various communities in Matanuska and Susitna Valleys in Alaska. Matanuska-Susitna College offers a general program for various college courses that lead to the associate of arts degree. The college s curriculum also provides a foundation for pursuing baccalaureate degree programs.
