Founded in 1976, Ocean Reef Art League offers program s for the enhancement of the cultural climate for creative arts in the Ocean Reef community. It conducts a variety of classes, workshops, lectures, trips and art exhibitions. The center also offers classes in pottery and clay sculpting. Ocean Reef Art League teaches the techniques of making handmade boxes and covered jars. In addition, the center offers courses in photography, jewelry making and cartooning. Its facilities include a gift shop, art gallery and studio. The center s gift shop provides a variety of hand-made and pottery items.
