The Gallery at Lighthouse, Groton, a 450-square-foot art gallery and storefront located in the Groton Shopping Plaza, displays the artistic works of students with disabilities. The gallery provides these students with a venue for their work and promotes community interaction as well as social and life skill development. New artworks are exhibited for 5 weeks, with openings alternating between the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month. The Gallery at the Lighthouse hosts artist demonstrations and special exhibits such as "Handmade for the Holidays" on a rotating basis.

Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art at the University of Connecticut is an art gallery dedicated to the late Alexey von Schlippe, an accomplished painter and a former professor of art at the University of Connecticut at Avery Point. The gallery consists of a permanent collection of some of von Schlippe's work, and offers programs for students, the academic community and public for greater exposure to art through lectures, films, concerts and poetry readings.
