Located at the intersection of Pitman and Woodlawn, The Alternative High School is the Fort Zumwalt School District's option for those in need of night classes. It has approximately 23 students attending classes, and up to four teachers. The classes are held on weekday evenings.
Fern Ridge High School is an alternative high school for Parkway School District students. It is located on North Olive Spur Road, on the outskirts of Creve Coeur. It is an application-only school, and it is the student who decides if he or she will attend this school, as opposed to a decision made by parents, the school district or juvenile court systems. Enrollment is restricted to 110 students, so they can receive individualized instruction.
