Jetz Convenience Center consists of a gas station, car wash and convenience store. Located at the corner of Moorland and Janesville roads, Jetz in Muskego has been owned by cousins Bob O'Connor and Tim Klein since February 2004, however the business has been in the family for much longer. Their grandfather opened his first gas station in 1957, and, it seems, the idea stuck.
Now well beyond "fill'er up," Jetz offers an adjoining mini-market that sells dairy products, fresh bakery goods, cold beverages and self-serve hot coffee. While much of the fare is for people on the go, Jetz also provides tables for those who just want to take a moment to read the paper and enjoy a cup of coffee and a Danish. "It's not unusual to have someone take a seat. We love that people feel comfortable enough to do that. And we get to know them by name," said O'Connor.
