Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport MSP is a civilian/military airport situated between the cities of Minneapolis, Minnesota and St. Paul, Minnesota.  MSP Airport is the biggest and busiest airport in the upper Midwest and moves an average of 33 million passengers annually.  MSP started in 1921 after local groups bought the Speedway racetrack out of bankruptcy naming it Speedway Field. The name soon changed to Wold-Chamberlain Field in honor of World War I pilot’s Cyrus Foss Chamberlain and Ernest Groves Wold. In 1948 the airport was renamed Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Located just north of I-494 and east of Highway 77, MSP Airport has a variety of parking options including economy, short-term, long-term, garage and valet. Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport consists of two terminals (Lindbergh 1, Humphrey 2) with 126 gates. Lindbergh Terminal 1 is comprised of seven concourses (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and Humphrey Terminal 2 has just one concourse (H).  Connecting between terminals involves getting on the METRO Blue Line, which is free of charge between the terminals.  There are 14 airlines that fly in and out of MSP serving several international and domestic locations.

Airlake Airport is a public airport owned and managed by the Metropolitan Airports Commission as a reliever facility to draw general aviation traffic. It is a single 4,098' x 75' runway and full-length parallel taxiway. It is used primarily by recreational pilots, however, it is suited for business aviation needs as well.
