Formally organized in 1907 and began operations in January 1908, The Columbia Union Conference serves as the regional headquarters for a group of conferences located in the eight states that comprise the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Based in Columbia, Md., it provides administrative support to its eight conferences, two healthcare systems, 109 elementary and secondary schools and two colleges. The firm provides an array of services, such as administration, Columbia union revolving fund, communication services, information technology services, multilingual ministries and office of leadership development, to name a few.
