The Family Recreation Center offers membership options for individuals and families to participate in a range of recreational activities. It provides aquatic programs that include swimming lessons, water aerobics, Ai-Chi and scuba. The center features a gym that offers fitness classes. The Family Recreation Center also provides personal and group strength conditioning and toning, aerobic exercise, martial arts and Pilates training options. The center hosts special events, conferences, and camping and retreat programs. It additionally offers athletic activities, such as basketball and volleyball, as well as youth ballet dance classes. The Family Recreation Center includes outdoor hiking and running trails and soccer and athletic fields. The center is a part of Sherman Lake YMCA, which is a full-service recreational facility.
