Operational since 1922, Phillips Middle School offer education to students in grades six to eight. The school is operated by Fort Dodge Community School District housing 3,500 kindergartens to 12 grade students. Fort Dodge Community School District caters to the education needs of students in the Fort Dodge Community and surrounding areas. The district offers a wide range of programs, such as advanced placement, opportunities for dual college credit from Iowa Central Community College, honors courses, as well as vocational articulation and post-secondary enrollment options.
