The Utilities Department works to maintain and operate water supply and infrastructure of Peoria, Ariz. It is comprised of engineering, water conservation, water and waste water divisions. This division is also responsible for the collection, treatment and recharge of the citys wastewater. The Utilities Department operates an administration office that is comprised of utilities and deputy utilities directors, water resource and conservation managers, and utility engineering, water resource, clerical support and conservation staff. It also maintains an engineering division that designs and constructs a water system that provides adequate quality potable water to the citizens. The department is located in Peoria, Ariz.
