Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, founded in 1954, is a Catholic School that serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It offers a variety of educational, extracurricular and athletic activities. The school s academic curriculum includes computer technology, music, arts, foreign languages and physical education. It is a member of the Peninsula Independent Athletic League and competes against other local private schools in various sports, including cross country, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball. The school provides opportunities for its students to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as a band, chorus, the National Junior Honor Society, newspaper and student council.
