Olympic Ballet was founded by Helen Wilkins and her late husband John Wilkins 30 years ago. Olympic is composed of Olympic Ballet School, which provides classical ballet training for dancers of all ages; and Olympic Ballet Theatre, a nonprofit ballet company dedicated to producing a full season of high-caliber performances. Among Olympic's goals are producing quality classical and original ballets to develop new dance audiences, attracting young audiences through special programming, fostering community collaborationand offering professional opportunities to dancers, choreographers and designers in the Puget Sound area. Olympic offers six levels of training in both barre technique and center practice.
