Established in 1972, the Northstar Christian Academy focuses on Christian education and provides learning opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It enrolls more than 350 students and oversees a staff of over 40 full-time members. The academy offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as Bible, accounting, math, biology, chemistry, earth science, history and computer education. The Northstar Christian Academy also administers art and band programs. It participates in a range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, soccer, cross-country, softball and wrestling. Additionally, the academy has a parent-teacher-student association that encourages parental involvement in children s education. The Northstar Christian Academy is located in Rochester, N.Y.
