Monuments was founded by a collection of seasoned professionals, administrators, therapists and staff, who hand-picked each other to pursue a dream that would redefine adolescent behavioral health. Having worked in multiple capacities at several therapeutic programs for teens over the past 30 years, we know what works and more importantly, what doesn’t. Our collective experience brought us together to solve a problem that has thwarted the therapeutic process for years. Having identified the loopholes in the current therapeutic landscape, we believe we have built a treatment center that will finally bridge the gap between initial intervention and long-term relevancy for adolescent young men in self, family, and community. Monuments is the culmination of our life’s work- a company created with the sole purpose of helping young men discover the truth about their potential, by teaching them through real-life experience, heuristic (hands on) learning, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Through relevant treatment and individual success plans, each young man will find true self-efficacy and life-long change. How We Help Monuments is not your average treatment center - it is the next evolution of adolescent therapeutic and residential care. Monuments is a therapeutic school and treatment program designed specifically for adolescent boys ages 14-18. Located in the pristine mountains of Southern Utah, Monuments utilizes its unique therapeutic approach, professional staff and secluded setting to provide the most effective treatment available in the youth services industry today. Through the use of experiential education, active therapy, true horsemanship, and our own unique Family Systems model, we create a treatment plan that is specifically tailored for each young man and their family. Each plan honors where the family is today, and creates success steps to get them where they want to be in the future. This collaborative success plan is supported by individual, family and group therapy. It also incorporates a highly accredited, individualized high school experience, coupled with a one-of-a-kind rich entrepreneurial certification process that prepares our students for life outside of treatment. At Monuments, young men learn how to become relevant to themselves, their families and their community. As they work through their individual challenges, and learn to maximize their strengths while managing their weaknesses, those around them see their lasting value and worth. For this reason, we take our stewardship very seriously and have built a program that ensures every staff member who interacts with your son does so with the knowledge of the impact they hold.
