Established in 1981, Marin Day Schools is a nonprofit organization that provides early childhood education at two campuses in Mill Valley and extended day services at five schools in the Mill Valley School District. It is part of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a provider ofemployer-sponsored child care and early education for more than 700 clients in the U.S., Europe and Canada. Marin Day Schools uses the "World at Their Fingertips" developmental, anti-bias and multicultural curriculum, which is child centered, hands-on, experiential, project-based and fun. The Mill Valley campus is a project-based program that is community oriented and uses its location near Old Mill Park and the Mill Valley Public Library for field studies and project work.
