The Lisle Police Department employs 43 full-time officers and 17 civilian workers. In addition to emergency responses and patrolling Lisle streets for safety, the department is active in working with local schools to sponsor the D.A.R.E. program and Safety Town for kindergarten and first grade students. The department also offers gang tattoo removal services through the Edward Hospital in Naperville.
