The Kane County Law Library and Self-Help Legal Center offers free legal resources for residents in need of counsel, as well as attorneys and governmental employees. A large selection of law texts are available in the main library in the Kane County Judicial Center. Computers also are available for research and patrons can use conference rooms for private consultations. The library is continually trying to find new programs and services for those in need of free legal advice.
