YMCA of Honolulu is a nonprofit association that provides a variety of Christian programs and services. The association serves more than 16 million Americans, and operates in over 130 countries. It operates more than eight branches in Hawaii, including several resident camps and retreat centers that provide various health and social services. YMCA of Honolulu serves men, women and children of diverse social, religious, economic and ethnic backgrounds. The association provides various sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and swimming. It also offers several summer camp, night school, vocational counseling, adult education, college student services, and junior college programs. YMCA of Honolulu also supports various voluntary groups, such as Boy Scouts, Camp Fire, and the United Service Organizations.
