John Adams Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. It offers academic classes in mathematics, science, social studies, reading and language arts. The school also offers exploratory classes in art, consumer science, industrial technology and physical education. Its athletics department promotes participation in wrestling, basketball, cross country, volleyball and football. The school also provides various stationery items, such as tissues, binders, folders, notebooks, pencils, calculators and gym shoes. The school has an enrollment of more than 450 students and is located in Mason City, Iowa. John Adams Middle School is a part of the Mason City Community School District.
