The Hope House Foundation, founded in 1964, serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is a nonprofit organization that offers various volunteer opportunities. The organization provides a range of individualized supported living services for adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and apartments. The Hope House Foundation serves over 130 individuals in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach in Virginia. It has a staff of more than 250 individuals. In addition, the organization offers solutions for individuals with hearing and visual impairments, heart conditions, and asthma and psychiatric disorders. The Hope House Foundation conducts several fundraising events and provides wellness programs.
