Hixson's is still housed at its original location, which opened in 1949 as a school of floral design and gift shop.Today, Hixson's is not only a floral design school, but also houses Timely Trims, a Christmas shop. Owner Bill Hixson has been recognized for floral design both locally, nationally and internationally.
