Helping Hands offers personal care assistance to individuals throughout eastern, central and southern Maine. It provides private duty assistance to clients in over 10 Maine counties. The facility offers assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, personal hygiene and household duties, such as shopping, meal preparation, cleaning and laundry. Helping Hands provides transportation services to and from medical appointments and beauty shops, as well as for shopping, groceries and banking. It also offers help with playing games, getting in and out of bed, and reading and writing letters. The facility provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
