Founded in 2002, The Helen G. Nassif YMCA is a nonprofit community service organization located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The organization s facilities include a gymnasium, aerobic studio, fitness center, swimming pool, indoor track and basketball courts. It has a health and wellness center that features treadmills, bicycles, and elliptical and stair machines. The Helen G. Nassif YMCA offers aquatic and fitness classes for youths, teenagers, families and adults. The organization supports several sports activities, such as basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball, and track and field. It also provides parent-baby, preschool and progressive swimming classes for individuals of all ages. The Helen G. Nassif YMCA is a part of the YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Area.
