Glenville State College is a four-year educational institution that offers more than 30 degree programs. The college has an annual enrollment of more than 1,300 students and has a professional staff of over 50 full-time and nearly 30 part-time faculty members. It offers a range of sporting activities that include basketball, cross country, football, golf, track and field, softball and volleyball. The college offers degree programs in early education, general science, social studies, special education, nursing, resort area management, criminal justice and biology. It is accredited by the Commission of Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
