General Steel is a metal service center based in Macon, Ga. Established in 1956, the company offers a range of hot- and cold-rolled carbon as well as stainless and aluminum products. In addition to performing rebar fabrication, General Steel stocks structural steel, plates, sheets, bar gratings, pipes and other metal products. It also specializes in cold sawing, galvanizing, threading, precision sawing, sand blasting and circle shearing. General Steel is a member of the North American Steel Alliance (NASA).
