Founded in 1989, Galen College of Nursing offers educational programs for registered and licensed practical and vocational nurses. It is one of the largest, private nursing colleges in the United States. The college operates campuses in Cincinnati and San Antonio, as well as Louisville in Kentucky and Tampa Bay in Florida. Galen College of Nursing maintains learning resource centers that feature computers, high-speed wireless Internet access, textbooks and periodicals. Its campuses also operate multimedia classrooms, science laboratories, conference rooms, and study and lounge areas. The college provides financial assistance through third-party lenders. Galen College of Nursing offers career placement counseling and health care services. It provides classes in child caring family, applied mathematics, microbiology, and human anatomy and physiology.
