The Fleet Reserve Associationis an organization for active or retired U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard members and their families. The FRA #289 of Imperial Beachmeets in a club on Silver Strand Boulevard that has a full bar, an outdoor patio, a stage, a kitchen with food specialsand plenty of seating. Inside there is acommemorative sculpture of an eagle with the names ofFRA members on dog tags that decorate the eagle. The FRA is a second home for many, often hosting special events, dinners, field-trips and game nights.
