First Baptist Church began in 1868 as Antioch Baptist Church. Though our faces and buildings have changed since those early days, First Baptists mission to reach the community for Christ has not. We believe the Bible to be our manual, and Christ to be our example. Each Sunday we worship in Traditional, Contemporary, and Blended styles. We offer varied Bible Study classes designed for all ages and interests. We believe it is important to begin teaching the Bible and showing the love of Christ even to the youngest of our church family -- the Newborns and Preschoolers. We also have vital Childrens and Student ministries that teach the Bible in fun, innovative ways, challenging kids to make a lifelong commitment to serving the Lord and reaching out to our community. On Wednesdays, we offer a variety of activities for all ages as well. We have an Adult Sanctuary Choir, Childrens and Youth Choirs, Youth Discipleship Training, and Bible Study/Prayer Time for adults.
