Eastern Kentucky University, located in Richmond, Ky., is a regional, coeducational, public institution of higher education that offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs to students. The university offers general and liberal arts programs, pre-professional and professional training in education, and various fields at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The curriculum leads to associate degrees, baccalaureate degrees, and a graduate program that offers degrees at the masters level in many other fields, including the master of arts degree in education.
