Weightman, P.E. founded Downingtown Engineering Consultants, Inc as a Pennsylvania corporation in 2002. Our office is located at 315 East Lancaster Avenue, Suite A in Downingtown, PA in the middle of scenic Chester County. Licensed engineers who work at DEC are corporate shareholders. We visit clients, prepare cost estimates and engineering schedules, take field measurements, create office calculations and specifications, direct the creation of CAD drawings, collaborate with other consultants on the project, visit job sites to ensure drawing compliance, and resolve unforeseen site problems.
