According to owner Bob Mastin, Custom House Coffee is a unique business in that it is an artisan roaster retailer. It roasts and sells its own beans right at its Middletown location. Customers can choose from an array of beverage options as well as food choices. Custom House Coffee also has tables, both inside and outside, for customers to sit down at and enjoy their drinks. It sells pounds of its freshly roasted beans as well. In addition, on Saturdays at 1:00pm Custom House Coffee offers a free coffee tastiing. Custom House Coffee also has a location at a larger venue in Portsmouth.
