Colby Community College is located in Colby, Kan., and has a more than 80-acre campus. Additionally, it operates a 60-acre agricultural center as a laboratory and training facility for students in agriculture-related programs. It offers more than 60 academic and vocational programs, including English, business, general studies, agriculture and veterinary medicine. The college offers various sports programs, including basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, cross country, softball, baseball and rodeo. In addition, it has a cheerleading squad and a dance team. The college also provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities, such as intramural sports, clubs, a fitness center and indoor swimming pool. It offers various financing options for the students, such as financial assistance, scholarships, pell grants, college work study programs and student loans. Colby Community College is a member of the Jayhawk Conference.
