Originally founded in Paris in the early 1920s, the Chedeville company crafted their mouthpieces from super-resonant premium rod rubber. Now under the leadership of Jody Espina, Chedeville mouthpieces are once again available using the reformulated original Chedeville rod rubber recipe. Espina has combined his Classical Clarinet and Saxophone mouthpiece designs with “Chedeville Rubber” and certain aspects of the original Chedeville models. All Chedeville mouthpieces are handcrafted at the JodyJazz/Chedeville factory in Savannah GA and made with new world technology and old world craftsmanship to the highest standards of excellence.
