Opened as Crossroads Waldorf School in 1982, Charlottesville Waldorf School serves more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It promotes the intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth of students through various instructional techniques. The school has several sports programs, such as volleyball, cross-country, basketball, and track and field. It offers memberships to band and choir. Charlottesville Waldorf School teaches various subjects, including math, social studies, English, computer science, music and physical education.
