Founded in 1952 by the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of Arkansas, Central Baptist College offers religious studies and various baccalaureate degree programs, including pastoral studies, church music and youth ministries. The Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accredits the college. The college also offers courses in natural science, including biology, chemistry, physics, preoptometry, pharmacy, wildlife, dental hygiene, home economics, medicine, nursing, radiology, veterinary, dentistry, medical technology, and physical and occupational therapies. Central Baptist College also offers courses in psychology, political science, sociology, history, and geography. It also offers various athletic programs.
