Established in 1994, Carpenter Performing Arts Center is a 1,074-seat theater located on the campus of the California State University. It hosts large and small performing ensembles, film screenings, concerts, conferences and other special events. The center presents a variety of music, dance, family, comedy and cabaret events every season. It commissions new works by the country s leading artists and ensembles, and hosts world premieres, Broadway specials. It offers leasing of the facility for a wide range of events, such as corporate functions, conferences and award functions. The center provides a visually and technically equipped performance space, landscaped terrace, stocked backstage area, parking space and access to adjacent campus facilities.
