Byron Health Center provides special physical, mental, neurological and emotional care services to young and older adults. It is licensed to provide both intermediate and skilled nursing care and certified as both a Medicare and Medicaid facility. It is a member of the Indiana Association of Homes & Services for the Aging. It provides services to individuals who are more independent and are able to live in a residential setting. Its services include 24-hour care by licensed nursing personnel and on-site staff physicians; pharmacy and pastoral and respite care. It also provides various therapies, such as physical, speech, occupational, respiratory and activity. It provides consultancy services of podiatry, dermatology, dentistry and audiology. Its other services include recreational activities, meal and banking and operates a gift shop. Byron Health Center is located in Fort Wayne, Ind.
