Established in 1969, Brakewell Steel Fabricators Inc. is one of the most versatile service-oriented fabricators in the northeast United States. Its capabilities include shearing, CNC punching and plasma burning, brake forming custom shapes up to 20 long, plate rolling and welding in carbon steel, stainless and aluminum. The companys clients include general contractors, iron shops, structural fabricators, machinery manufacturers, governmental agencies and sheet-and-plate fabricators, among others. Its projects include stair treads inside the Statue of Liberty, a perimeter enclosure at Ground Zero at the World Trade Center site, curved stairs for the NBA Hall of Fame, to name a few. Brakewell Steel Fabricators Inc. has certification from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) for simple bridge work, steel building structure work and is an AISC certified bridge and highway component manufacturer.
